About EcoDeco

EcoDeco AS is a Norwegian technology company founded by Eirik Botten Nicolaysen. It builds software, datasets and measurement methods.

How the work is done

Everything published has to be verifiable by someone else. Where the study design allows it, the analysis is preregistered before data is collected. The source code is published. The dataset is deposited with a DOI.

The order is the point. A preregistration written after the result is known is not a preregistration. Where the analysis is exploratory, it says so in the publication itself.

Background

Eirik Botten Nicolaysen has thirty years across craft, curation and technology. He built and installed large-scale physical work before moving to software. He has worked with generative AI since 2022.
