EcoDeco AS is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

What is collected

This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts and no contact forms. Fonts and images are served from ecodeco.no, not from external servers.

What is nonetheless processed:

Server logs. The web host records IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser type and referring address. This happens automatically for all visits and is necessary for operation and security. The legal basis is legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f).

Cookies. The site sets one cookie for language preference, so that pages are shown in the language you selected. It is strictly necessary for that function and is therefore exempt from the consent requirement in section 3-15 of the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act. Logging in to the administration interface additionally sets authentication cookies, but this applies only to the site owner.

No cookies are used for analytics, profiling or marketing.

Email. If you write to post@ecodeco.no, the content of your message is processed in order to reply. The basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f).

Where data is stored

The site is hosted by Webhuset AS in Norway, acting as data processor. No data is transferred outside the EEA.

Retention

Server logs are retained by the host according to their own routines. Email is kept for as long as there is a legitimate need.

Your rights

You have the right to access data about you, to have errors corrected, to erasure, to restriction of processing, and to object to processing. Requests go to post@ecodeco.no. You are entitled to a reply within one month.

If you believe the processing breaches the regulation, you may lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority under GDPR Article 77.
